Privacy.

Our promise. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone who uses it for their own purposes. We count visits without cookies. We use Google Analytics only if you say yes. We use your email only for beta news.

The beta list. If you sign up we store your email address, your answer to "What do you build?" if you gave one, the version of the consent text you agreed to and the time you agreed. No IP address and no user agent are stored with it. The only use is to send you beta access and Press Start release news. The lawful basis is your consent.

Visit counts. Every visit is counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and keeps no personal profile of you. We see page views and countries, nothing that identifies a person.

Google Analytics, only if you accept. A banner asks once. If you press Accept, Google Analytics 4 loads and sets cookies so we can see which pages help; Google is our processor for this and receives your visit data. If you press Decline, nothing from Google loads and no cookie is set. You can change your answer at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer, which also removes the cookies.

Experiments. If you accept, we may show some visitors a different headline to learn which reads better. A cookie remembers which one you saw. If you decline, you always see the original and nothing is remembered. The page reads its on and off switches from our feature-flag service, GrowthBook, with a request that carries no cookie and no identifier of yours.

Who processes it. Cloudflare stores the list (a D1 database), serves this site and counts visits; Resend sends the confirmation and the news; Google processes analytics data only if you accept. None of them may use it for anything else.

How long. The list: until you unsubscribe, or 30 days after version 1 ships if you never confirmed your address. Cookies: the choice cookie and the experiment cookies last at most 6 months; Google's last as long as Google sets them and are removed when you withdraw.

Your choices. One click in any email we send unsubscribes you and deletes your row. You can also ask for a copy or a deletion by writing to the contact address in the footer.
